I'll be checking back here for support and help as I go through this!

Hello,

I just started HCG after reading up on it for about a month. I am on day three and have to say enjoyed gorge days, but I don't eat like that. I am enjoying day three.

I have a question. The protocol says don't mix vegetables, but your recipe, I made at lunch, Shrimp Etouffee, combines onion, pepper and celery. Is that okay?

Hi Kinc,
thank you for joining our forum and for you question :D

I believe its ok to do, however in the beginning i would try to stick to protocol.
Most importantly, you don't want to have strawberries and an orange in the same day, and the fruits need to be at least 6 hours apart.

Some of the recipes have versions specific for phase 3, such as added cheese, etc.

Again, welcome and hope that answers your question

scale question.

I need a good travel scale. I bought one that I thought would work because I am leaving for 10 days. It does not work after three days. I had to move to my more permanent scale today and I think it was different. Looked good when I got on. I wish I got on that first day to see the difference.

Kathy

Kathy,

Not sure I can help on that one... When I travel I just haul my same old scale with me - I am not certain I can find one that is calibrated the same way. It is heavy and a pain to carry, but it seems to travel just fine. :~D
