Are you tired of dealing with skin rashes...?
Skin rashes, eczema, acne, adult acne, skin blotches, rosacea the red mask of yeast ( a red rash in the area of the face or neck); where do these rashes come from, why do they occur? Well, in my opinion, it all stems from removing toxins from your system. You see, the liver is the largest organ in your body... Now, why would you ask, is this person talking about the liver when I am here because of my skin? Well... they are interrelated you see. The liver is a filter and one of its major functions is to remove toxins from our system. But the backup filter is the skin! The National Digestive Diseases Information Clearinghouse states: "The liver, the largest organ in the body, is essential in keeping the body functioning properly. It removes or neutralizes poisons from the blood, produces immune agents to control infection, and removes germs and bacteria from the blood. It makes proteins that regulate blood clotting and produces bile to help absorb fats and fat-soluble vitamins. You cannot live without a functioning liver." As you can see, the liver is a very important organ. However, it can be overworked. If there are too many toxins in your system, the liver's first order of business is to preserve the body and so it must deal with the poisons in your bloodstream. If there are too many poisons, however, there is a backup system and that backup system is "the skin" <ah ha - she makes her point>. When you have an undue amount of toxins in your system; to such a degree that the liver is overburdened, the skin kicks in and trys to "help" by eliminating toxins, too. This assistance by the skin takes the form of, you guessed it, pimples, skin rashes, eczema, acne, etc. Now... that is all well and good, but where are these toxins coming from? Bear with me here... Have you ever, even once, taken antibiotics, corti-steroids like prednisone, birth control pills, chemotherapy or oral acne medications? If you have, you may have a candida concern!
The kicker is that skin disorders are just the tip of the iceberg. You may be suffering from many other symptoms that are related to Yeast. Things like fatigue, painful joints, recurrent vaginal yeast infections, eye pain, chronic sinusitis, headaches, and more. For a comprehensive list look at this list of Yeast Symptoms. Finding out that I had a candida problem solved so many problems for me! From things as benign as eye pain to water retention. You can take a bunch of tests to determine if you have systemic yeast, but doctors don't seem to want to acknowledge how wide spread this condition is. They would much rather treat the symptom instead of spending the time to get at the root cause. If you want a quick and suprisingly reliable test - try this saliva test. Read this article from the Great Smokies - an outfit that tests for candida - for their take on skin disorders and Candida:
Skin Disorders and Candida Albicans
Overgrowth of intestinal yeast Candida albicans can be signified by a large number of skin problems, including psoriasis, inflammation, and rashes on various parts of the body. In fact, some experts estimate that 15% of patients with Candida overgrowth have some type of skin lesions.1 Numerous clinical studies have linked the presence of anti-Candida albicans antibodies in the blood with the clinical condition of atopic dermatitis.2-5 A team of German investigators found an inordinately large amount of Candida albicans yeast in the stool samples of HIV patients suffering from seborrheic dermatitis.6 Overgrowth of candida albicans can be triggered by antibiotics, oral contraception, high sugar diets, stress and other factors. Great Smokies offers several assessments to evaluate the systemic impact of Candida albicans in the body. Candida Antibody assays blood for IgG levels to Candida albicans. Anti-Candida Antibody assays blood sample for IgG, IgM & IgA antibodies against Candida albicans. Candida Intensive Culture assays blood and stool for immune reactivity to Candida albicans infection using the Yeast Culture and Candida Antibodies to create a comprehensive profile. This is an excerpt from an article from Healthy Christian Living; they have done a lot of research on Candida. "The majority of people who have Candida Albicans (Yeast) do not even realize they have it until they become seriously ill. It is estimated that over half of the worlds population has a moderate to serious Candida condition, due to the over use of antibiotics/drugs, bad diet and other causes. There are many programs, books and products on the market, all promising either control or relief from Candida and its symptoms. I have searched the net, researched with colleges and pulled together the most comprehensive, straightforward & up to date information possible. We will show you in these pages why Nystatin, Diflucan and other Fluconazoles do more harm than good, how to recognize the problem, arrest it and of course get rid of it!"
